- Remove all 4 tires, check condition of and measure rotors/drums and pads/shoes. The technician stated the left front brake caliper is bad and needs replaced. The front brake pads have no life left and are metal on metal. The left front brake caliper needs replaced as well as the front brake pads and rotors. The rear brakes are a little under half life and can wait a little while longer.
- The technician believes the shimmy to be coming from the left front brake caliper. The technician will test drive the vehicle after replacing the brakes. If the shimmy is still there we can try balancing the tires. After replacing the left front brake caliper the technician test drove the vehicle and stated the shimmy was still present . The technician balanced all (4) tires and stated the shimmy is no longer there.
- Remove and Replace customer supplied right front head light bulb.
- Remove and replace the left front brake caliper, front brake pads, rotors and bleed brakes.
- Remove wheels from vehicle. Computer spin balance. Reinstall wheels to vehicle and torque lug nuts to manufacturer's specifications.
