- The technician stated noise you are hearing is the driver side engine mount . It is torn. We recommend doing both sides there are only 2. The differentials are quiet but both could use a service if it has not been done. There is no way of telling the fluid condition other than to drain it. If doing the drain and fill we would do both the front and rear.
